That's so cool!

I've gotten sick now, and was trying to figure out what to do with myself today. Now I've got a project (for breaks between movies).

I didn't notice it was only for Macs.

WOW! Manxome, must you go showing me up? ;)

Seriously, this is so awesome. I really really love the look of this - and I think I recognize the picture underneath it all.

Wow. You are so freaking talented - put up more of your stuff!!! (Please.)

:)

Witchy, thank you. I like it myself. I get to show a picture of me, without being too literal, and expand on the "me" part with characters (blog ramblings) and photos I took (something I need to get back up to speed on again). So, it does a lot of what I hoped it would do.

Lyons, ha! Everyone has thier own style, that's all. Besides, I came across this and all you have to do is tell it what photos and how many tiles. You can tell it to make a mosaic out of "condom" photos from goolge images if you want. Yeah, I made the picture a bit recognizable but not too much (it's hard to tell that it's my hand I have propped up there on my cheek, though). Gotta hang on to that introvert thing!

SE, worry about the Mac thing, but really, anything else is doody. :P I can recommend a few things to play with though: One that's pure fun is fd's flickr toys for flickr users (if you don't have an account there, you can get a free one). Another one I recommend for the artist in you is a kickass free plug-in for Photoshop (and which is sadly only for PCs!!!!!) called virtualPhotographer, which does a freaking wonderful job with special toning effects.
