SE, I have no clue what it is, just that it was intriguing. I kinda like to let these things speak for themselves. I just observe it. :)
I think it's Bachelor's button. I have some in the garden as well, it's a particuarly stunning plant whose flowers look like tropicals rather than hardy perennials.
